awhile back grady and i were able to score an awesome deal on our crib and dresser for the nursery. the boxes are currently sitting in our living room waiting for grandpa to help assemble at the end of june! we're happy with the dark colored wood since it will match our woodland/forest creature theme. but, before we can get anything assembled, we have to replace the carpet in the room first. so it's going to be a busy june!
today was very exciting as well, as i finally was able to pick out my glider! woo hoo!! and not only is it a glider, it's a rocker and recliner as well. oh yeah, and it swivels too! the fabric i picked out is a chocolate microsuede-type fabric that only needs to be cleaned with water. major plus!! it is so comfortable and i already know i'll be spending many nights sleeping in this chair with our chickadude.

Holey Moley Girl, that chair is going to make you dizzy!! Actually it sounds perfect! Do you have to be pregnant or have a newborn to have one?? Hey, maybe you could just keep a squirt bottle and those cute burp cloths in a basket by the chair for those uummm-infrequent spit-ups:)
ReplyDeleteactually, the manufacturer started out just selling them as regular living room chairs. then he saw the market in baby chairs and modified them a bit for us lovely moms. and i got it in a solid color so that after the baby we can move it somewhere else in the house and still use it.
