today was a great day. we were so happy that uncle tim, aunt andrea, and cousins olivia and mason came to visit us during their whirlwind virginia visit! when they arrived at our house it was right around lunch and nap time, so we got the kiddos all set and then the big kids got to enjoy a nice relaxing lunch as well. when the kids got up we made plans to head down to reston town center, where they were staying. with tons of places to eat, and lots of space for the kids to run around, it was perfect.
we ended up at jackson's (love that place!), and the kids were so well behaved. graham even tried a piece of calamari! i will get him to eat sushi...i need a partner in crime! they sat us back near the kitchen, so the kiddos had a great time watching all the food be prepared.
with everyone full of food and energy, we decided to walk back to the hotel tim and andrea were staying at and let the kids run around for awhile.
there were a few rounds of ring around the rosie, running through the azaleas and graham flirting with the older ladies!! all in all the night was a huge success (and tons of fun!). no meltdowns and the kids were wiped by the end of the night!!
we're sad to see them have to go back to texas so soon, but we'll be having a last dinner tomorrow before they head back. we love you guys and can't wait to hang out with you again soon!
