so we were able to set-up a showing this morning of the house we were holding out on. and oh man, we're glad we waited!!! as i mentioned before, we really liked the layout of the house down the street, but it was going to need some work. from the pictures online, the one we were holding out on looking at had the same layout and was much more updated and needed less work.
we walked in the front door and were immediately blown away. the hand-scrapped floors were gorgeous, new tile and carpet in the master, newer carpet upstairs, and appealing paint colors throughout the entire house. there are minor things to do like replace faucets, etc....but those are things we can handle!
so with that being said...it was lucky our agent brought a contract with her because we are signing the dotted line for this place!
they want to close quick, so we're hoping we hear back tonight on our contract, but we'll see! cross your fingers!
