we're going to become the sanner six soon!!

words can't describe my emotions right now. i'm happy, scared, nauseous, everything!! :)

i had no idea i was pregnant, and thought my period was late because i have been kind of stressed at work. another week went by and i was like...you know, i do feel a little different...i'm going to take a test this morning just to see what's going on. i waited until grady took mojo on a walk and ran to the bathroom (because i really had to pee too!), ripped open the test and away i went. it took no time at all for that little plus sign to show up! WOAH!

wanting to confirm that the test was accurate i decided to go out to target before work and get another pack of tests. i ran home, drank more water and proceeded to do another one...plus sign! the pack had two, so i said, why not...let's do them all and see if three times a charm! drank some more water, tested again.....plus sign!! so i knew that just the two of us were quickly becoming a family of three!

maybe it was a mental thing, but i did feel kind of naseous this morning. maybe it was nerves too! regardless, i was not able to focus on anything else, so i told the gals at work i was not feeling well and was going to take it easy for the day and get back to work on friday. of course i wasn't taking it easy, i was trying to figure out how i was going to tell grady!

it had to be something creative, something touching, and something funny. i think i achieved all three. i took a silver box, filled it with yellow basket filling, printed out the "letter from baby" poem and framed it in a simple silver frame. placed the frame in the box and scattered some baby favors around it. then, i found some mommy & daddy duty dice and put them in the box as well. i have a feeling those might come back to haunt me though! i also got grady a book called "she's having a baby....and i'm having a breakdown: what every man needs to know - and do - when the woman he loves is pregnant." i skimmed through it and it's actually a pretty funny book. i might have to read it when grady's done!

we were going to make dinner...but i think after i break the news to grady, we might be heading out for dinner! :)
