no trip to cocoa beach would be complete without a stop into surfers!

graham just wanted ONE drink.  hehe!

after hitting up surfers, the old owner adam invited everyone over to his house. the kids had a blast playing in the pool.  we found out that graham is quite comfortable wearing a life vest in the pool.  we have one at home, so might have to try it at our pool.

grady has taken graham to the beach every morning before the sun gets too hot and then has run around a bit with the rest of his fam.  but today....today is a beach day with everyone!

sun, sand, surf and huh?  falling asleep halfway through eating a cookie??!

this is why we love coming down to cocoa....especially in may!

bearable temperatures, rocket launches and woah....the plants have completely covered the walkway headed to the beach from star's place.

brevard zoo

while kaeli was finishing up her last day at school, aunt star, cousin kamrin and cousin keagan took graham and grady to the brevard zoo.  looks like they had a great time (seeing as grady said graham fell asleep the minute they got back in the car to go home!)

and i don't know about you, but i want a zoo that has a water park area in it too!!  so cool!

the dudes made it down without a hitch (well, i guess there was some crying on the descent), picked up their rental car and made their way to aunt stars place.  

graham promptly showed cousins kaeli and kamrin his flashy ipad.

and before bedtime they all changed into matching jammies (including little keagan).  thanks grammie!!!

and away they go

so today my dudes head down to cocoa beach for 6 days!!!!

this will be the longest i've ever been away from the little dude.  i know i'll probably enjoy some time to myself, but i already miss them!

a beachy wedding

today marked the first day of colin and stephanie's 'together!'

it was a perfect day.  the setting was beautiful.  the weather was beautiful.  and the bride was beautiful!

graham was quite impressed with the speaker for the guitar.  for the life of me i can't remember the guys name that played the guitar, but he was really nice and even walked him up the stairs to see the beach.  

it was great seeing family and great seeing some old faces from good ol FCHS!

i was so bummed that i couldn't make it down there.  but with my cast, i was going to take any chances with plastic bags, tape, etc.  i decided i would stay on star's patio and take pictures from there.  where's the real zoom when you need it!!  

based on the recap from grady, graham wasn't too thrilled going into the ocean, but LOVED sitting and playing in the sand and letting the water splash up on him.

rehearsal dinner

this wedding is going to be beautiful!  the location is right on the beach, but everyone will be sitting underneath a grass hut, so no worry of getting sunburned.  and there is an AWESOME breeze, so no worry of get hot out there either.  

we ended up getting to the rehearsal a little early, so we did some walking on the deck, looking at the ocean, dancing, and chillin' in our new favorite shades.  i can tell one thing though...with grady in the wedding and me being responsible for watching the dude...taking pictures is going to be tough!  we tried to get as many family shots as we could tonight.

we had a quiet morning with star and the girls while grady went out and did best man stuff with the groom to be colin!  kaeli showed graham some of her favorite videos, and then graham showed her one of his favorite videos.  devo 'whip it!'  he loves dancing to that song!

cocoa

we have arrived!!!

i know i post a picture like this every time we go to cocoa and stay with star and tommy, but it's because i can never get over how AWESOME of a place they have!  i could sit on the balcony and look at this all day!

the trip down was great.  four stars (out of four) to be exact!  i've got the traveling dude thing down to a science.  make sure the flight is right around lunch time and nap time!!  our flight left at 12:30, so we got some lunch in our bellies and then before we were even off the ground graham was passed out.  he slept the entire way, waking up just in time to see us land.  

picked up our rental car and we were off.  once we got to star and tommy's the kids had some fun finger painting and looking cute!

oh, and then the dude showed his love for aunt star by giving her a great 'graham slam!'
