playoffs

no, not NFL...flag football!  :)

croistoir's team, the chargers, started their playoffs this morning at 10am.  the weather was beautiful, so we headed down to algonkian park to cheer him on.  we were a couple minutes late, but even when we got there, the chargers were up!  and it wasn't long that we were there when who receives the ball and runs right by us for a touchdown....criostoir!!!  chargers win the game and go to game two.

(even though graham did some cheering for criostoir, the tall grass was just too enticing!)

we weren't able to get to the final game since graham was wiped from playing at the other two games and taking a nap.  but when we heard from colleen, it was a close game, but unfortunately the chargers lost the final game.  bummer.

but the good news out of all of it....criostoir got MVP for his team for scoring FIVE, yes FIVE touchdowns!!!  pretty proud of him.

redskins head to the playoffs!!

so i'm at work three days before the skins head to the playoffs and get a voicemail.

long story short, i get a call from kerry asking if i would like to be her date to the playoffs!!!

UMMMMMMM, YES!!!!

what happened next was i proceeded to run out of my office and tell everyone what i was going to be doing!  see, kerry's husband is the equipment manager for the redskins.  so these weren't going to be the normal nose bleed seats i'm used to.

even though i wasn't going to be able to watch the game with my boys, we were all rockin our skins gear!

so like i mentioned before, these were no nose bleed seats.  we were right above where the skins run out of the tunnel, and right down the row from the pig pen!  and speaking of the pig pen...little did we know we were at the LAST GAME that the hogettes would be making an appearance.  sadly...they have disbanded!

so as you can see, we had a great view and had a great time!  

even though we didn't win, it was still an awesome moment in redskins history that we were able to experience.

VICTORY!

WOW! wasn't expecting that win, but we'll take it!!

now we can enjoy the beautiful weather we're having!

unfortunately cooley was cut from the team this year, but he will live on in the sanner household!

wow, and what a difference a year makes!  this is my first football post from last year!

lazy sunday

we were all kind of cooped up in the house yesterday due to the snow, and sunday didn't seem to be much different.  no snow, but it just felt right to be a little lazy, hang out in our pj's, and watch some football!!  oh, and i made some beef stew.  yum!

not only did my boys appreciate a relaxing day...so did our little miss mojo!

superbowl sunday!!!



okay, so the redskins aren't playing in the superbowl...but the dude sure does look cute in his little outfit! i absolutely LOVE the pants. they make him really look like a mini football player. he even had a matching bib to go with his outfit. that is until he drooled all over it. we've definitely hit that stage. the bib is a permanent fixture these days!

our little dude is all geared up and ready for some football. this sunday was my first time really hanging out in the basement since we've been home. the change of scenery was quite nice, although i have started getting used to just living on our main level and upper level!
