good 'ol budney (or rudy as we call him)!  the dude can't exactly get his name right, so to him rudy is budney.  we couldn't ask for a more patient cat as you'll see from these videos.  rudy has always been mojo's best friend, but i think she better watch out.  a new bff is making his way in!

apparently he doesn't want rudy to be mad or to be mad at mojo.  :)

rudy man

poor rudy man.  had to take him to the er this morning.  he was definitely in respiratory distress and we didn't want to have to take him to the ER, but we didn't know what would happen if we didn't!  i'm DEFINITELY glad we did.  the ER hospital was so nice and everyone there took excellent care of the rudy man.

i got to the hospital and they immediately took him back.  he was put on oxygen and given inhaled medicine to try and get his breathing under control.  the nurse came out shortly after rudy was taken back and took me to an exam room.  the doctor came in and basically said it was a really bad asthma attack and we did the right thing in bringing him in.  they asked to keep him there for a few hours to observe him and make sure nothing happened.  

5 hours later we were able to pick rudyard wayne sanner up from the hospital.  the comment i got from the doctor "he's doing MUCH better.  i think he's just a little anxious to get out of here and get home!"  he wasn't the only anxious one to get him out of there and back home.  our house was pretty quiet without him.  little miss mojo was quite happy to have him back as well!

rudy will be on more meds the next several days, and hopefully we'll kick whatever this is out of his system.  if it's not the kid, it's the animals!!  i tell ya!!  :)

the dude seems to be very interested in rudy these days.  especially after he has found how fun rudy's feather toy is for, well, both of them!
